We are now taking reservations for New Year’s Eve at Sea Containers. Our striking riverside restaurant will be offering a special four-course menu which includes a glass of Laurent Perrier La Cuvee Champagne on arrival. Seasonal dishes will include Scallop Veloute and lemongrass, Roasted Quail, salsify, white pudding, sherry vinaigrette, Fillet of British British, heritage baby carrots, bone marrow gratin and Roasted Apple with Quince and custard. Our sommelier will be on hand to recommend the finest wines to pair with your food, and there will be entertainment in the form of a live band throughout the evening in the restaurant. Bookings can be made from 5pm onwards for a two-hour seating after which time we recommend Dandelyan or Rumpus Room to ring in the New Year.

Our new Riviera-inspired Summer Terrace launched on Monday 22nd May through until the end of September. Featuring a restaurant terrace as well as a more casual dining and drinking area – the space will also include a bespoke Grey GooseBoat
Serving a special, curated summer menu of American and British seasonal dishes that reflect the transatlantic feel of the hotel dishes will include ‘Giant Ceviche Tacos’, ‘Clay Baked Lobster with garlic & lemon butter’ as well as ‘Truffle Summer Flatbread’, in addition to some favourites from the Sea Containers Restaurant A La Carte menu, which will also be available to terrace guests.
Drinks will be focussed on summer trends whilst cocktails, created in partnership with Grey Goose, will include the ‘Transatlantic Travel; Grey Goose Citron, Martini Rosso, lemonade and lemon juice’ and ‘La Poire Espresso Martini’, Grey Goose La Poire, Espresso, maple syrup, Kahlua – a seasonal take on the traditional Espresso Martini.
The terrace will be fully heated, with heady citrus notes from the planted trees and cosy cushions and throws for the changeable British weather. Pickett fencing will line the dining area and blue and white fabrics, fitting of the nautical Riviera theme, will transform the space into London’s very own Cote D‘Azur.
As one of the only river-front terraces on the Southbank of the Thames, the Mondrian London Summer Terrace will be the must visit destination throughout the season.
The Summer Terrace menu is available every day from 12pm – 10pm, however the terrace is also open for breakfast as normal.
APRIL 2017 – SEA CONTAINERS NEW BRUNCH MENU
Launched on the 1st of April, the menu seeks to celebrate British sourced ingredients in an American style, echoing the trans-Atlantic history of the Sea Containers building and the ethos of Mondrian London. Sea Containers restaurant will be the perfect weekend spot to enjoy new dishes such as the ‘Brooklyn Sandwich’; buttermilk waffles served with crispy bacon, Canadian maple syrup and vanilla ice cream, the ‘Crab Omelette’; Portland crab served with avocado, heritage tomato, jalapeño and coriander and ‘The Reuben’; a sandwich of salt beef, melted Smoked Cheddar, pickle and sauerkraut. There will also be sharing roasts served both days, as well as lighter options such as kale and cobb salads.
The restaurant, with views of the Thames and St. Pauls, will serve boozy hard shakes, such as the ‘Mississippi Mudslide’, a shake of Bulleit Bourbon, chocolate, and orange zest, and ‘The Big O-reo’, a shake of Jim Bean Double Oak, vanilla, Oreo cookie and whipped cream. Guests can also beat their hangovers with Bottomless Grey Goose Bloody Mary’s. Tailor made, guests can juice their own tomatoes and garnish to preference with herbs and fresh ingredients from the specially made Grey Goose Bloody Mary Market Cart. While bottomless prosecco will also be available for a supplement.
With floor-to-ceiling windows which open fully during summer months, Sea Containers will be the perfect space to enjoy a weekend brunch with views of the London riverside.

MAY 2016 – SEA CONTAINERS LAUNCHES A HAMPTONS INSPIRED SUMMER TERRACE
Can’t make it to the Hamptons this summer? You can still get a taste of summer by the sea at our outdoor terrace popping up from May to September on the South Bank River Walk at Sea Containers. Think crisp rose or ice cold Perrier Jouet paired with oysters and lobster rolls. You can linger over a bottle while watching the world go by (we have heaters and blankets for those days when the weather feels more Britain and less Bridgehampton) or take it to go from our beach hut.
